Dekton is made by sintering: the raw materials of glass, porcelain clay and quartz are pressed and heated in a process that mimics the formation of natural stone in a few hours instead of thousands of years. The result is an extremely dense, non-porous slab that does not absorb liquids, does not stain and needs no sealing.
Our range includes 43 Dekton shades, from light marble looks (Entzo, Danae) to concrete surfaces (Kreta, Soke) and deep black (Domoos, Sirius). The most common thicknesses are 12 and 20 mm; thinner ones suit splashbacks and cabinet doors.

Yes — the sintered surface withstands hot pots and pans directly on the surface without leaving marks. This is Dekton’s clearest difference from quartz composite, which does not withstand sudden heat.

Dekton withstands heat and UV light, quartz does not. Quartz, on the other hand, has a wider selection of light marble patterns and a softer price level. We help you choose in our showroom or at the measuring visit.
