A black base and white veins make Nero Marquina one of the most recognisable marbles. The Spanish stone is available 20 and 30 mm thick, and the polished surface further emphasises the contrast of the veining. The marble worktop is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, windowsills and wall surfaces where a strong graphic look is wanted. Remember that marble is an acid-sensitive natural stone — acidic splashes are wiped off immediately and the surface is sealed regularly.
