Terrazzo has made a strong comeback in interiors, and Taurus Terazzo Dark brings it to the kitchen as quartz. The lighter grains mixed into the dark base come from natural quartz, granite, glass and crushed mirror, which Technistone binds with polyester resin into a very dense slab. The polished surface emphasises the variation of the grains. The material does not absorb liquids, resists scratches and needs no impregnation. There are three thickness options – 12, 20 and 30 mm – and the slab works for worktops, bathrooms, window sills and wall surfaces.

Is terrazzo quartz suitable for a bathroom?

Yes, very well. Uses include kitchen worktops, bathroom tops, window sills and wall surfaces. Quartz does not absorb moisture, so it handles bathroom conditions without problems.

How do you care for a dark quartz worktop?

A damp cloth and mild detergent are enough. Quartz is non-porous and needs no impregnation. Limescale splashes show more easily on a dark surface, so regular wiping keeps the worktop tidy.
