Beveled edge is the most popular edge profile. This means that there is a narrow, up to 2 mm wide bevel both on the upper side and on the lower side and the edge itself is ground. Stone slabs with a bevelled edge fit in a modern home and this edge profile fits different thicknesses of stone slabs.

Antique edge profile can be selected for a stone slab that is at least 30 mm thick. This edge profile fits best in a home that is decorated in an old classic style.

A glued edge is usually chosen to save money or reduce the weight of the slab. It is possible to make the stone slab from a light material and glue on an edge that imitates a more massive stone. We also offer semi-round and round edge profiles to adapt the stone slab to the home’s style and other furnishings.

Once you have selected the edge profile, it is also important to think about processing the outer and inner corners of the stone slab. It is possible to choose the radius of the outer corner so that the angle is not too sharp and it matches the design of the home. You can also choose different radii on different inner corners to give your kitchen a unique look.

You usually have round inner corners due to the properties of the material and round outer corners on kitchen islands and tables to avoid damage to the stone slab, but above all so that people would not injure themselves.
