We have an efficient quality control system in place where we scrutinise all stones from the quarry to the factory. We track every step of the process to ensure that the stones have the best tone and pattern.
The properties of granite: elegant and durable
Granite is known to be a very hard stone. It is crack-free and has an exceptionally high resistance to pressure, impact and deformation. It also resists moisture and acids well, because, due to the compactness of the stone, it does not absorb as much as marble, for example.
Granite is also resistant to heat, which means you can easily place a hot pan on your granite worktop immediately after use. The lighter coloured granite stones are slightly more delicate than the darker ones, but with impregnation once a year, it also resists external wear and tear very effectively.
The pattern and colour of the granite varies
Our pictures are examples. As granite is a natural stone, the colour and pattern of the stone may differ from the picture. Each stone is unique and cut from a large block of stone with dimensions of 3000–3200 mm × 1450–1900 mm. Every month, a brand-new batch of granite and marble arrives at our factory, with unique colours and patterns. Differences between the different stone sections are most evident on light and grooved stones. Darker stones with an even pattern are more similar to each other.
