About us

A stone factory that measures, machines and installs itself

Stoneks is a stone worktop manufacturer founded in 2000, with its own factory in Tallinn and its own installation team in Finland. We do not sell through intermediaries: the same crew measures your kitchen, machines the slab and installs it in place.

The story began with outdoor kitchens

Founder Kert Loide started in 2000 by making outdoor kitchens from stone. They taught two things that still hold: stone withstands almost anything if it is machined and installed correctly, and the customer remembers the end result, not the sales pitch. From outdoor kitchens we moved to kitchen worktops, and from worktops to complete kitchen renovations. Today the Stoneks group operates in Finland, Sweden and Estonia, with more than 13,000 projects behind it.

Our factory is in Tallinn, an hour's ferry ride from Helsinki. We say it openly, because it is our strength: we can keep the whole chain in our own hands. Laser measuring in Finland, CNC machining in Estonia, installation back in your kitchen — without a retailer's margin and without the information changing hands along the way. Delivery and installation in Finland — 10 working days from measurement.

The numbers we stand on

We do not advertise with adjectives but with what has been done.

01

20+ years of stone

The first outdoor kitchen was completed in 2000. Since then we have made worktops, stairs, windowsills and table tops from stone every single day.

02

13,000+ projects

From studio-flat kitchens to hotel lobbies. Every one measured, machined and installed by our own team in Finland, Sweden and Estonia.

03

100+ stone materials in stock

Silestone, Caesarstone, Technistone, Avant, Dekton, Marazzi, Laminam, Nuovo Corso and Atlas Plan — the slabs are waiting at the factory, so production does not wait for an order from the manufacturer.

04

Google rating 4.8 in Finland

The rating given by Finnish customers. We read every review, including the ones we learn something from — tidy work and a schedule that holds are the most frequently mentioned things.

The team: measurers, CNC operators, installers

We do not have a separate sales organisation that makes promises and a production department that tries to keep them. The measurer who visits your kitchen with the laser is the same person who comes back to install the worktop. In between, the slab passes through the hands of the CNC operators in Tallinn: they cut the openings for the sink and hob, mill the edge profile and polish the surface according to the measurement file, not an estimate.

This chain is the reason we can promise a schedule and keep it. When the measurer knows how the installer wants the joints, and the operator knows what the measurer meant, no correction rounds are needed. For you it shows as one contact person and one installation day — not five phone calls to different companies.

What we believe in

Three things we do not compromise on.

01

Honest material advice

If marble does not suit your family's kitchen, we say so out loud and suggest quartz or ceramic. We sell the stone that withstands your use, not the most expensive one on the shelf.

02

The schedule holds

Delivery and installation in Finland — 10 working days from measurement. We agree a day and we come on that day. If something deviates, we tell you in advance, not on the morning of the installation.

03

Tidy work

We protect the floors, take the packaging waste with us and leave the kitchen ready for use. The installation is finished only once you have gone through it with us.

How we work

  1. Quote and material selection

You tell us the dimensions, the use and the style; we suggest a material and make a quote. Sample pieces go out by post, or you view the slabs at the showroom in Tallinn or Stockholm.

  2. Approval and measurement

Once you approve the quote by email, we agree a measurement day. The measurer laser-measures the carcasses on site and goes through the placement of the sink, tap and hob.

  3. Drawings and production

You receive drawings for approval. After that the slab is cut and machined on CNC at our factory; we inspect every piece before loading.

  4. Delivery and installation

The same team brings the worktop and installs it. If needed we handle removal of the old worktop, appliance connections and plumbing, priced separately.

Showrooms and service area

Three countries, two showrooms, one factory.

01

Showroom Tallinn

Vesilennuki 20, Tallinn — next to the factory. You see full-size slabs and can watch how the CNC machines an edge. Book a visit in advance.

02

Showroom Stockholm

Ekgårdsvägen 2, Stockholm. The showroom of our Swedish office, displaying the same material range as our Finnish deliveries.

03

Finland, Sweden, Estonia

We measure and install in all three countries with our own team. In Finland the focus is on the Helsinki region and Southern Finland; ask about other areas.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why is the factory in Estonia and not in Finland?

Because that is where the company was born and where the expertise is. Tallinn is an hour's ferry ride from Helsinki, so the same team can measure in Finland in the morning and be at the factory in the afternoon. For you it shows as a fast schedule and a price without a retailer's margin — not as quality being anywhere other than in our own hands.

Who serves me in Finland?

A Finnish-speaking contact person from quote to installation. The same person answers the phone, arranges the measurement and is reachable on the installation day. The measurers and installers are our own team, not subcontractors. Contact details: +372 56 920 370 and sales@stoneks.com — we reply within 24 hours on working days.

Can I see the materials before ordering?

Yes. We send sample pieces by post, and you can see full-size slabs at our showrooms in Tallinn (Vesilennuki 20) and Stockholm (Ekgårdsvägen 2). If you cannot come in person, we help you choose based on photos and your intended use — see Request a quote.

What does the warranty cover?

The Stoneks warranty covers measurement, transport and installation when we carry them out. It does not cover damage caused by improper use — mechanical, chemical or thermal stress — and the stone surface must be maintained according to our instructions. More detail at Warranty and care instructions at Maintenance and cleaning.

Shall we take a look at your kitchen?
