Why choose the sink before the worktop is measured?
The sink determines how the worktop is fabricated. An undermount sink needs a precise cut-out with a polished edge, while a top-mount sink needs a rougher opening whose edge sits under the sink. An integrated sink is made from the same stone as the worktop, so there is no joint at all. That is why we ask for the sink model and dimensions before the measurement — the measurer needs the sink or its drawing on site.
The sink and tap are fitted during the worktop installation as a separately priced extra service. We know, for example, Blanco's steel, composite and ceramic sinks, and we know how each one is fixed to stone. The cut-outs and tap hole are CNC-machined at the factory, so nothing is drilled on site. On installation day the sink is fixed to the worktop and the tap is fitted. Plumbing connections to the drain and water supply are done as a separately priced service, or your own plumber connects them after the installation.

Cut-outs and holes from the factory
The sink cut-out and tap hole are CNC-machined at our factory according to the sink's dimension drawing. The edge is polished and the dimensions correct before installation day.
Undermount with no dirt-trapping rim
With an undermount sink, water and crumbs are wiped straight into the sink. No rim for dirt to collect under, and the worktop surface continues unbroken to the edge of the sink.
Integrated sink in the same stone
In ceramic or quartz we can make the sink from the same material as the worktop. The shade and surface continue seamlessly, with no visible joints or different materials.

Steel sink
The most durable and carefree in everyday use. Undermounted in a quartz or ceramic worktop; fixed with adhesive and clips into an opening sized at the factory.
Composite sink
Can be colour-matched to the worktop, feels quiet and soft. Suits undermounting in both quartz and granite worktops.
Ceramic sink
Withstands heat and stains. Top-mounted or undermounted in a ceramic worktop; an integrated sink is made from the same 12 mm slab.
Stone sink
For the bathroom or kitchen in marble or granite, in the same stone as the worktop. Sealed and cared for like natural stone.

From measurement to installation
Measurement
We agree the sink model and tap position before the measurement. The measurer checks the cabinet width, drain location and distance to the wall so that the tap fits.
Fabrication at our own factory
The sink cut-out and tap hole are CNC-machined at our factory in Tallinn. For undermounting the edge is polished; an integrated sink is bonded to the worktop already at the factory.
Delivery
Delivery and installation in Finland — 10 working days from measurement. The sink and tap arrive in the same transport as the worktop, so everything is installed in one visit.
Installation
We fix the sink to the worktop, seal the edge and fit the tap. Plumbing connections are done as a separately priced service, or we leave them ready for your plumber.
Questions and answers
Can I use my own sink and tap?
Yes. We need the sink's dimension drawing or the sink itself at the measurement visit so that the cut-out is machined correctly at the factory. For the tap, the hole diameter is enough. If the sink has not yet been chosen, we suggest a model based on the cabinet width and worktop material, for example from the Blanco range.
When will the sink and tap be in place?
Delivery and installation in Finland — 10 working days from measurement. The sink and tap are fitted on the same day as the worktop. If you order the plumbing from us, we arrange it for the same or the following day; otherwise your own plumber connects everything right after the installation.
How much does fitting the sink and tap cost?
The sink cut-out and tap hole are included in the worktop fabrication. The sink and tap are priced separately in the quote by model, and their fitting, removal of the old worktop and the water and electrical connections are separately priced extra services. We give a fixed quote after the measurement. You can claim the kotitalousvähennys (household deduction) on the installation work.
Undermount or top-mount sink?
An undermount sink is easier to keep clean and looks neater, and it is the most common choice for a stone worktop. A top-mount sink is cheaper and suits if you already have the sink. An integrated sink in the same stone is seamless but requires ceramic or quartz. We tell you at the measurement which suits your cabinet.
Where should the tap be positioned?
The tap is usually placed centrally behind the sink, but we check that its handle does not hit the windowsill or splash guard and that there is enough distance to the wall. If you also want a soap dispenser or a filter tap, we machine the holes at the factory at the same time.
