What should you decide about natural stone tiles before ordering?
A natural stone tile is three choices: the stone, the surface and the size. Granite withstands wear and frost, so it suits hallways, staircases and outdoor areas. Marble is beautiful in bathrooms and living rooms but needs sealing and care with acids. Limestone is softer and develops a patina over time, which is part of its character. During the measurement we tell you straight which stone will last in your particular space.
The surface finish determines both the look and the use. A polished surface looks deep but is slippery when wet. A honed surface is matt and calm, and suits indoor floors. Flamed or brushed granite gives grip underfoot even when wet, which is why we use it on outdoor steps and terraces. We cut the tiles at our factory to precise sizes, so you can also have large tiles and edge pieces that fit the room exactly.

We do not sell only standard sizes. We cut the tiles at our own factory to the dimensions you want and finish the surface polished, honed, flamed or brushed to suit the space.
Stone suits underfloor heating
Natural stone conducts heat well and stores it evenly. With underfloor heating, a stone floor feels warm underfoot and the heat spreads evenly through the whole room.
Indoors and outdoors in the same stone
Flamed or brushed granite withstands Finnish frost and gives grip when wet. The same stone on the terrace and indoors makes the interior and exterior one unified whole.
The same team measures and installs
We measure the space, plan the tile layout and install. Nothing is lost between middlemen, and edge pieces, thresholds and skirtings are made from the same stone at the factory.

Granite
The hardest and most wear-resistant choice for floors, stairs and outdoors. A flamed or brushed surface is non-slip; polished is elegant indoors.
Marble
The classic floor and wall stone for bathrooms and living rooms. A honed surface is the most practical; sealing protects against stains and acids.
Limestone
Soft, warm-toned and calm. Develops a beautiful patina in use; suits interiors where a living surface and regular care are welcome.
Ceramic
When you want the look of stone but a carefree surface: large 12 mm tiles resist stains, wear and UV light indoors and out.

From measurement to installation
Measurement
We measure the floor or wall and plan the tile layout so that the cut pieces fall neatly at the edges. We also check the flatness and moisture of the substrate.
Fabrication at our own factory
The tiles are sawn and finished at our factory in Tallinn to the chosen size and surface. Edge pieces and thresholds are machined from the same stone on a CNC.
Delivery
Delivery and installation in Finland — 10 working days from measurement. The tiles are packed on pallets by batch so that the shade stays consistent across the whole floor.
Installation
We lay the tiles with adhesive mortar, grout them and seal the natural stone where needed. We go through the result with you and give care instructions.
Questions and answers
Are natural stone tiles suitable over underfloor heating?
Yes, very much so. Stone conducts heat better than most flooring materials, so the floor warms evenly and stays warm. The key is that the substrate is dry and the heating has been run in before installation according to the instructions. We explain during the measurement how the substrate is prepared.
How quickly are the tiles in place?
Delivery and installation in Finland — 10 working days from measurement. Made-to-measure sizes and special finishes are produced at our own factory, so the schedule does not depend on an importer's stock. We agree the installation day with you when you order.
How much do natural stone tiles cost?
The price depends on the stone, thickness, surface finish and quantity. We give a fixed quote after the measurement, once the tile layout and wastage are known. We make the tiles directly at the factory without a retailer margin, and you can claim the kotitalousvähennys (household deduction) on the installation work.
Which surface is safest when wet?
Flamed or brushed granite gives the best grip underfoot, which is why we use it on outdoor steps, terraces and bathroom floors. A honed surface is a good compromise for interiors. A polished surface is beautiful but slippery when wet, so we mainly recommend it for walls and dry areas.
How is a natural stone floor cared for?
Granite copes with water and a neutral cleaner. Marble and limestone are sealed after installation and again every few years, and acidic cleaners are not used on them. You can find suitable care products on our page /maintenance-products/, and we give written instructions at installation.
